This summer, we’re offering a monthly All-Church Community Hour after the 10:00 a.m. service to provide new ways for our congregation members to gather in community. Tomorrow, we explore prayer. When you think of prayer, what comes to mind? Is your image of hands folded, or a person speaking to God? Often in worship services or in the media, this is how prayer is depicted. This is one way to pray, but join us tomorrow to discover that there are so many more!

In our text for this week, Jesus is on a mission. He is headed towards Jerusalem and headed there quickly. The disciples are with him on this journey but get distracted by the happenings around him. Others offer to go, but aren't as willing to fully invest in his mission. What do we consider as the major purpose of our lives? What everyday tasks and situations distract us from living out that purpose in all that we do and say?

Summer is a wonderful time for a good book. Are you ready for Peace Works - Summer Camp 2019? DGFUMC and Wesley Woods are ready for you!

The annual All Church Mission Trip to "Get the Camp Ready for Camp" at the Wesley Woods Retreat Center was a wonderful opportunity to put faith into action on June 8 - 12. Many hands completed 56 tasks and projects to prepare the camp buildings and grounds in just five days! Sixteen people volunteered in this beautiful setting on the shores of Lake Geneva, WI. Here are photos of just a few projects and a just a few of the people who joined Don and Devra Dunham on this trip to paint (even the dock!), stain, and repair!

Pentecost Sunday is important to celebrate in the light of all that is going on because God is providing the loving assistance and divine companionship that we desire. Look again at the loving message from Jesus and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit!

We are getting close to the end of our tour. It has been an amazing experience for all! I wanted everyone to have a look at what happens before a concert.
